IDOL 5S: Immersive multimedia experiences
The IDOL 5S has a slim and sleek 7.5mm metal unibody hosting a super bright 5.2-inch 423ppi display wrapped in 2.5D curved glass for silky smooth edges. Its front-facing dual speakers seamlessly integrate into the stunning metal-and-glass body to enhance its stylish appearance.
Created to capture both crystal clear snapshots and sensational selfies. It features a 12MP rear camera with a large pixel size at 1.25µm, f/2.0 aperture and ultra-fast hybrid autofocus (PDAF+CAF) with dual-tone LED flash. Its 8MP front camera is loaded with an incredible 1.4µm pixel size and front flash. This fantastic device also comes with value-added functionalities to create Cinemagraphs (still photos with minor moving elements) and Light Trace (an imaging technique that adds light to an under-illuminated subject while taking a long-exposure photograph).
The smartphone delivers excellent multimedia experiences which include an immersive audio quality without requiring users to set multiple parameters or navigate a complicated equalizer. It features a sharp 13MP rear camera packed with f/2.0 aperture, a 1.12µm pixel size and an ultra-fast hybrid autofocus (PDAF+CAF) with dual-tone LED flash. The IDOL 5 also includes a 5MP front camera with an astounding 84° wide angle lens and front-facing flash to ensure sensational selfies every time.
Instant action with the Now Key
Both the IDOL 5S and IDOL 5 smartphones have a built-in customizable Now Key that users can preset to launch specific apps, tasks or actions. IDOL 5S users can use the dedicated hard key to trigger an action or access to the app that you like most. IDOL 5 users simply tap the dedicated floating Now Key, positioned anywhere on their home screen, to trigger the actions they use the most. For example, they can customize the Now Key to start the camera app, call a contact, start a sound recording, compose an email, and more, each with a single tap.
